When was the last time you set yourself up
for gym success?
Being ready to go head to the gym or get
in a workout at home is a lot easier when you set yourself up for
success.
There are many ways that you can be sure
that you are gym ready all day long but, we are going to focus on just 3 of
those ways here today.
1. Lay
Your Gym / Workout Outfit out Beforehand
Having your outfit picked out and layed
out the night before. This works well if you workout to start your day. If you
workout after you leave work then have your gym bag packed the night before and
put it beside the door.
2. Make
a Standing Workout Date with Yourself
Don't pencil yourself into your calendar.
Make your workout dates non-negotiable by putting You and Your fitness goals on
your calendar. You can also set an alarm 15 - 20 minutes before your date to
remind you that the time getting close. This will allow you to begin to wrap up
whatever task you are working on at the moment.
3. Do
Workouts that You Will Look Forward to Completing
It can be hard to want to hit the gym or
exercise in general if you don't love what you are doing. Whether it is
Dancing, Walking, Running, Jogging, Bodyweight Strength Training, Weighted
Strength Training, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), Soulcycle,
Crossfit, a combination of these or any other style of exercise you choose. As
long as it is an exercise that you can look forward to doing that is all that
matters.
4. Set
Your Workout to Music
There is something about putting on some
music and zoning out while you are exercising. The playlist is all up to you
when it comes to the music you listen to while working out. At Naturally Sweet
